Celebrating Mother Earth

Celebrating Mother Earth

In honor of Earth Day, we want to take a moment to acknowledge this beautiful planet on which we live. Without its endless fortitude and support, life as we know it would cease to exist. Which is why it’s so important that we do our part to keep it healthy. As a clean beauty brand, we aim to create products that exist in harmony with nature. And in our daily lives, we strive to take small actions that can make a positive impact on the planet. Here are some easy ways to be more eco-friendly.

Refill, don’t replace

Instead of buying new beauty products and throwing away the packaging, find brands that offer refills. This will cut down on your waste by a lot! Each of our shampoo and conditioner refill pouches contains 85% less plastic than two bottles—that really adds up over time.

Try composting

It’s a great way to recycle discarded food items and scraps, while giving you free organic fertilizer to use on your plants.

DIY instead of buying new

From clothing to home furnishings, it’s always better to work with what you have. Here’s your chance to get creative and make some beautiful updates.

Wash clothes in cold water

Most of the energy used by washing machines is used for heating the water. You can help reduce carbon dioxide emissions (and make your clothes last longer) by keeping it cool.

Use a water filter

Cut waaaaaaay back on plastic when you opt for a water filter instead of buying bottles. There are many types, from whole-house to pitcher, but they all save money and keep plastic out of landfills.

Use natural cleaning products

Whether you buy them or make them (vinegar, baking soda, and lemon juice work wonders), natural cleaning products keep toxic chemicals from seeping into the environment and into your body!
