How Does It Work?
Kiseki means ‘miracle’ in Japanese, but we can actually explain this miracle treatment with science. If hair is damaged at its deepest layers, then the midsections and surface will also experience damage. Real damage repair happens in the deepest parts of your hair’s medulla and cortex, where most mask formulas can’t reach.
Our formula’s components feature a well-balanced range of molecular weights to repair hair at each layer. Key peptides are able to penetrate the hair’s surface and deliver their benefits inside the hair’s cortex due to their lower molecular weights – smaller molecules are able to go straight to the core. Other ingredients adhere to damaged areas in the middle layers and at the cuticle surface for thorough repair at every level.
Molecular Repair Peptide Complex:
Milk thistle seed extract + hydrolyzed pea, rice, and soy proteins efficiently penetrate damaged hair fibers to help stabilize and repair keratin, protect hair’s structural proteins, deliver antioxidants, and enhance cuticle barrier function. Cue improved strength, moisture, softness, and shine.
Repair Assist Complex:
Natural sugar derivatives work with the plant peptide complex to adhere to damaged, hollow areas in the internal cortex and fill them in. The result: new bonds between keratin filaments for repaired tissue, strengthened hair, and reduced breakage.
Stress Protection Complex:
Green tea seed oil, lotus flower extract, and a plant-derived conditioner help protect the hair cuticle from environmental stressors. Provides moisture and shine.

What Is It?
A miraculous leave-in treatment that goes beyond the surface, penetrating the hair's core to actively reverse damage at the molecular level in only 4 minutes. Formulated with 4 types of plant peptides and powerful botanical extracts, this concentrated masque is designed to repair hair weakened by chemical treatments, heat styling, and environmental stressors. Kiseki restores strength, softness, elasticity, and resilience from the inside out – so that you don’t have to worry about damage.
What Does It Do?
Our curated low-weight molecular repair peptide complex consists of 4 different plant proteins and extracts: milk thistle seed extract and hydrolyzed pea, rice, and soy proteins. Our proprietary delivery technology improves formula absorption by 50%, allowing these peptides to penetrate deeper inside strands than they could on their own as pure ingredients. Together, they act as a vegan keratin treatment to improve hair’s strength, silkiness, and barrier functions. Green tea seed oil upcycled from Japan and lotus flower extract also work to repair, moisturize, and protect hair. For added sensorial dimension, earthy fragrance notes of hinoki wood, iris root, and sweet incense blend together for a healing atmosphere. The peaceful, gender-neutral scent evokes scenes of a traditional Kōdō ceremony and forest bathing, restoring your mood along with your hair.
Kiseki Molecular Repair Leave-In Hair Masque contains several upcycled ingredients for greater sustainability.

How is the Kiseki Masque different from other molecular repair masks?
Selected from a pool of nearly 1000 plant peptides, our molecular repair peptides are up to 8 times smaller, so they actually penetrate your hair’s cortex and medulla for deep bond repair. Other similar molecular repair products tend to use polypeptides, which are much larger and cannot penetrate as deeply. The Kiseki Masque ingredients are well-balanced for multiple layers of reparative and protective mechanisms to target damage at every level of the strand. Our unique delivery technology is also key: the base formula was developed to permeate low molecular weight peptides and deliver them effectively deep within the hair, for up to 50% improved absorption.
Why is the molecular weight of a peptide important?
The molecular weight is a way to measure the size of a peptide, so the lower the molecular weight, the smaller it is. Peptides with a lower molecular weight are able to reach deeper layers of the hair’s structure all the way to the core instead of only patching up the surface. Damage at the core can result in damage at the middle and surface layers of hair, so strands aren’t truly repaired unless they’re repaired at the core.
The peptide sizes in our formula range from 250-500Da. For reference, other leading peptides in the industry are around 1500-2000Da, and keratin fibers in the cortex range from 80K-100KDa.
What do you mean by ‘delivery technology’ in the formulation?
If you were to dissolve some of the ingredients in the Kiseki Masque, like milk thistle seed extract, in water to create a product, the output would not repair hair damage. Our delivery technology was developed to create a formula base that effectively permeates our active ingredients and delivers them within the hair’s cortex. By increasing the absorption of peptides and nutrients in the deeper layers of strands, we can maximize the experienced benefits of these ingredients.
Do I wash the Kiseki Masque out of my hair?
No—after shampooing and towel-drying your hair, apply the Kiseki Masque. Do not rinse.
What will the Kiseki Masque do for my hair?
Restore strength, softness, smoothness, and bounce. See your first results after 4 minutes.
How long should the Kiseki Masque sit in my hair?
Let the treatment soak in for at least 4 minutes before continuing your hair routine. For even more dramatic repair within one session, allow for 10-15 minutes of treatment.
Can I use conditioner or other products with the Kiseki Masque?
Do not use conditioner before applying the Kiseki Masque. It should be applied to freshly washed hair. (The peptides in the formula will be able to penetrate deeper into the core when there are no layers of other product in the way.) After Kiseki’s 4-minute activation period, feel free to use a leave-in conditioner or any other products you’d like.
How often should I use the Kiseki Masque?
Use for four consecutive hair washes, then use weekly for maintenance.
I have textured hair. Can I use the Kiseki Masque?
Yes, the masque works with all textures of hair and suits curls, waves, and coils well due to its barrier repair and protection.
Can the Kiseki Masque be used on color-treated hair?
