What Is It?

Formulated with 4 types of plant peptides and powerful botanical extracts, this concentrated masque is designed to repair hair weakened by chemical treatments, heat styling, and environmental stressors. Kiseki restores strength, softness, elasticity, and resilience from the inside out – so that you don’t have to worry about damage.

Our curated low-weight molecular repair peptide complex consists of 4 different plant proteins and extracts: milk thistle seed extract and hydrolyzed pea, rice, and soy proteins. Our proprietary delivery technology improves formula absorption by 50%, allowing these peptides to penetrate deeper inside strands than they could on their own as pure ingredients. Together, they act as a vegan keratin treatment to improve hair’s strength, silkiness, and barrier functions. Green tea seed oil upcycled from Japan and lotus flower extract also work to repair, moisturize, and protect hair. For added sensorial dimension, earthy fragrance notes of hinoki wood, iris root, and sweet incense blend together for a healing atmosphere. The peaceful, gender-neutral scent evokes scenes of a traditional Kōdō ceremony and forest bathing, restoring your mood along with your hair.

What Does It Do?

Kiseki means ‘miracle’ in Japanese, but we can actually explain this miracle treatment with science. If hair is damaged at its deepest layers, then the midsections and surface will also experience damage. Real damage repair happens in the deepest parts of your hair’s medulla and cortex, where most mask formulas can’t reach. 

Our formula’s components feature a well-balanced range of molecular weights to repair hair at each layer. Key peptides are able to penetrate the hair’s surface and deliver their benefits inside the hair’s cortex due to their lower molecular weights – smaller molecules are able to go straight to the core. Other ingredients adhere to damaged areas in the middle layers and at the cuticle surface for thorough repair at every level.
